I love the changing of seasons, mainly because each season brings something new and unique. For those in Seattle, where I reside, folks especially live for the summer. Why? Well, that’s the season when we can expect to see the sun for multiple days in a row! OK, OK, maybe it’s not quite that bad. But all joking aside, people seriously go crazy for the sun here. They lay out in swimsuits on the grass as soon as it warms up…to 65 degrees.

’Tis the Season—Giving the Gift of Paperlessness

The holiday season is my favorite time of the year—it brings back a lot of great memories. The family traditions that I grew up with, such as receiving an ornament every year so that I would have enough to decorate my own tree when I was older, to the new traditions that my husband and I are creating with our children. In particular, we like to go “Griswold” and cut down our own tree. This usually brings a lot of laughter, but thankfully we haven’t brought home any unnoticed squirrels.
