Access eSignature Solutions: Easy to Get to and Use

By Mike Kelley on Feb 28, 2019

The Access team is fresh from HIMSS in Orlando, Fla., where we talked with CIOs and CMIOs from hospitals across the country. One of the first questions many industry leaders asked was, “How simple is your technology to get to and use?”

An "Epic" HIMSS18 Tees Up a Big Year Ahead

By Tim Elliott on Apr 5, 2018

I look forward to HIMSS every year, but this year was special. Usually, I get to see old friends, visit with our customers that we’ve grown close with over the years, and get a picture of what various tech vendors are pitching right now. And because we are a virtual company, it is one of the few times each year that a big part of our Access team is all together in one place. It’s a great opportunity to re-energize for the year ahead!

And Now for Something Completely Different

By Chris Vickery on Mar 6, 2017

This was my fourth year at HIMSS, but it was like none other. The show typically is all about getting your products in front of as many people as possible and drumming up leads. To do so, you need to come up with creative ways to pull attendees into your booth. Every exhibitor prepares for months making sure their sales team knows the pitch, their marketing folks have some catchy messaging, and their booth staff is prepared to pass out plenty of swag.

Is HIMSS Really Over?

By Tim Elliott on Mar 2, 2017

While HIMSS week seems to pass by so quickly, memories of the 2017 conference will last throughout the year for several reasons. The first was getting to meet many new prospects and partners. It also was great to catch up with old buddies, some of whom have been going to the show almost as long as our President Mark Johnston (37 years, back when HIMSS was focused on radiology imaging and other non-computer technology) and CTO Chuck Demaree (26 years, with his beard hair showing each year like rings on a giant redwood tree).

By Brett Chalmers on Feb 22, 2017

The working water pump from The Last Well that’s on display in Access’s HIMSS booth (1778) has drawn the attention of the hundreds of visitors who have stopped in to see our eForms and eSignatures solutions. It also has caught the eye of the news staff at HIMSS Daily Insider, a terrific publication from Healthcare IT News that chronicles the big stories in and around the exhibition and conference.

Final Stretch: Beat the Stress, Last-Day Slump and Sore Shoulders

By Lindsey Keith on Feb 22, 2017

You survived two days at HIMSS. Congratulations! That means you successfully navigated the hour-long lines and non-existent Uber service at the airport, somehow found your way to and around the labyrinth that is the Orange County Convention Center, and attended a few after-hours events without having to wear mouse ears.

A Message You Won’t Want To Miss

By Brett Chalmers on Feb 21, 2017

From 1-2:30 p.m. today in the Access booth (1778) at HIMSS17, a special guest, Todd Phillips from The Last Well, will speak about his organization’s history, mission, progress and future. He’ll also answer any questions that come his way. It’s a story that you’ll want to hear, not just because of the way they’ve been deploying life-saving technology in Liberia, but also their ability to overcome the most difficult of obstacles.

3 Ways To Survive HIMSS17 With Your Health Intact

By Lindsey Keith on Feb 16, 2017

One of the worst things about traipsing through a giant convention center for 8 hours has to be the foot pain. Luckily, help is at hand from the most unlikely of sources: the booth giveaway. No, not the USB sticks or giant pens, but rather the jar full of squishy balls.

My dozen-year HIMSS anniversary

By Randy Hippe on Feb 1, 2017

Twelve in a row. That’s the milestone I’ll reach at this year’s HIMSS Conference. OK, so it’s not exactly Cal Ripken’s 2,632 consecutive-games-played streak, but I’m proud of it nonetheless. My very first show was with Access 12 years ago. At one point, thinking the grass might be greener (and it wasn’t), I ventured away for a while.
